What is the DCI of the Mindset Navigator platform?
Analyse digital mindset to gain an understanding of personality characteristics in 6 success-critical dimensions for dealing with digital transformation. The Digital Competence Indicator (DCI) - part of the Mindset Navigator platform - is a modern diagnostic tool for analysing the digital mindset of your employees.
It is not about digital skills, such as programming langugaes or software knowledge, but about the analysis of the so-calles digital mindset, i.e. the develpment of personality dimensions that are critical for success in dealing with digital tranformation.
With the DCI, you can analyse, evalute, and improve the digital mindset of employees and candidates and therefore tap their full potential in the digital world.
What does the DCI measure?
The DCI measures and analyses 6 dimensions of the digital mindset. Each of these dimensions has two opposite poles. The DCI analysis where DCI users (i.e. employees and candidates) are pronounced between these two poles.

Through these 6 dimensions of the digital mindset, a type assignment can be made to four digital types. These digital types characterize the four different roles in digital transformation: Digital Questioner, Digital Advocate, Digital Bridgebuilder and Digital Nerd.

How does the content of the DCI come together?
Over the past few years, we have conducted several hundred interviews with candidates and customers and discovered that patterns and types emerge. Based on this, we have developed a matrix that analysis the digital mindset, in which each type can described in terms pf its strengths, its value to the system, and its limitations.
With several thousand deployments of the DCI, the matrix with the six success critical dimensions and four digital types has become more and more solidified and the norm values have evolved.
